Images taken while driving through Nevada. Here is a little desert and of course, no trip to Nevada is complete without a trip to Las Vegas. The trip to Vegas was interesting. In Vegas, one can expect the streets to be totally packed with people on a Tuesday night, hotels running at $40 a night, having dinner at 4am - if you are lucky to find a place that's open and of course, tons of casinos. We drove to there at night through the Mohave desert which registered 111 degrees F at 9pm! After an entertaining evening in Vegas we hit the road and experienced the drive through the desert during the day at 105 degrees F - thanks to the elevation. I can't say anything else about what happened in Vegas - remember, "What happens here, stays here". We were also treated to a sighting of the Hoover Dam on our way out of the state.
